Cambodia Walls of Shame In Phnom Penh

I enjoy walking and what is really sad is the smell of the streets here in Phnom Penh . Everyday regardless of the time of day grown men squriting on the walls; I think of them now as Cambodian Walls of Shame.

With all the donor money you would think that they could come up with a solution to this, they cleaned up the garbage, and the burning problem is much less, so the air quality is better, but take a good whiff in most places in the city and it smells like a toilet.

In Manila they had little walled off areas with drains that went straight into the sewer system might be something to take a look at they were probbly $50 to make real simple brick walls that are 4 feet high or just plain old fasiohned porta potties or more little bathrooms set up around the city. then put the police on the case and start charging fines with these two things i bet the problem would start to come under control and the smell of the walls of shame will go away.I took all of these pictures in less than 5 min
