Phuket and the travel agents
I sometimes am surprised by the service that I get yesterday I am working very hard to give somebody 2000 baht worth of business and she was acting as if we were imposing on her day. I had to stop her several times to ask her to please let me finish my question before she answered. She was answering possible objections before they were asked. As a pro salesmen in my past life I know that the 4 best times to answer a objection are the 1st time you hear the 2nd time you here it before you hear it and never but you always want to let the other guy finish there question first so that you understand all the nuances.
It seems and it has been pointed out to me a few times in Asia that they will answer a question even if they are unsure of the words they are hearing and that it is very important to speak in small 3 year old words and to phrase questions simply as they most of the time will not understand and that this is where a lot of problems will arise from bad communication on your part after all if you want a perfect translation you need to learn their language not the other away around.
