Aspen Airport ASE Baggage Lost?

Aspen Airport has been for the week of Christmas a mess if you were suppose to get your luggage dilivered here from other airports. Denver DIA in particular has been having a tough time macthing the flights to the passengers to the bags.

One family had 14 bags comming in and they wait two days after they flew into Aspen to recieve 6 of the 14 bags and rhen waited an additional 2 days to get two more bags what the end of the story is I don't know.

Many people when they are going on vacation to places like Aspen or Vail wil keep the luggage small so they can carry on everything a sure way not to lose your bags but they now have a new regulation for "safety" Ya right another way for the airlines to charge for the bags!

Of all the people that I have talked to they say raise the price on the cheap flights and reflect the baggage in the airfare tickets. Most people don't like getting hit with these gottcha taxs at the last minuite when they are all ready stressed with full airports and the normal "fog of war" in catching flights. Adding to the delays while waiting to catch a plane is the aplication of the bag fee which slows everything down.
