Pictures from the Phukett Koh Phi Phi trip

I just got back from a two week trip in Thailand that took me to Pattaya to Phuket to Koh Phi Phi. The high lights would have to be the train ride down to Phuketand the Phuket nightlife which could be like the nightly mardi gras of Thailand. The scuba diving at Koh Phi Phi was better than I remembered it was really good to get wet again.

I had a good time in Pattaya as usual we stayed at the AA Hotel for 850 baht and this thailand cheap hotel in Pattaya is going up on our Asia best cheap hotels list of favorites list. We use to stay at the Montien but the prices there continue to go up and it really isn't a bargain anymore. the hotel is nice but the value isn't there for a discount Thailand hotel.

In Phuket I was surprised on a few different levels the town looked to be back to business as usual after the wave really was hard to see any damage. The only signs we saw were the Tsunami evacuation paths and the new new lights and warning systems. the prices for cheap hotels in Phukett has gone up a bit near the beach every thing seemed to be over 1200 baht a night. We stayed at Max's guesthouses and got a good deal on the room which goes for 850 baht a night.
