Thoughts for Lhasa & China

I have had the good fortune to be able to travel. I must say that it pains me to see the images on CNN on the troubles that are happening there I hope and pray that they can get this situation solved soon.

We had a great time in China last year and one of the highlights for me was going to Potela Palace in Lhasa or do you say lasa. We sat under the palace in a restaurant in a large rock cave and had some tea and enjoyed a very simple meal with very lovely people. I know from what I am seeing that they are blocks away from where this restaurant is. we also went to dinner in a place and they had a very large prayer wheel in the dining area. Also close to this neighborhood is a small wat and the devotion of the people was amazing as they prostrate them selves doing a modified squat thrust motion for hours on end.
