Aspen Cheap Hotels
Aspen Cheap Hotels a oxymoron for sure but you can find some of the Aspen cheapest hotels to be fairly good value considering the hotel prices of the big hotels like the Hyatt and the Aspen St Regis which can go for over $800 a night.
Cheap Charley himself is in Aspen for the winter season and has been snooping around to find the really cheap aspen hotels and has started a small list that I will fill in as I get time and put regular pages on the Cheap Charlies website.
The best deals seem to be the Mountain Chalet right at the bottom of the lifts practically they have some share rooms that I need to do some investigation on.
St Moritz has been getting some good reviews from people that I have talked to it seems that they get a good mix of folks staying there and it is in a real quiet area of Aspen close to Aspen mountain.
The one that I have been keeping a eye on is the Tyrolean I like the way the place looks which is like a resort up in the swiss mountains. I checked out the prices and compared to the others it seems OK but no pool.
If you want a good value I would say look at the Hotel Lanedo which won some awards for the artichure. Very cool lobby with a reading room and jacuzzi in a very interesting layout and a very cool little bar but the thing I wanyt to do is sit on the fur cover chairs on the porch Wierd I know. Another little trick out feature is the fireplace in the room very cool make thaqt very hot and cool looking!
