Wow! Back in Asia traveling on the cheap as usual for this Cheap Charley and it has been a whirl wind so far, in Bangkok for a week off to Cambodia for a month now back in Bali Indonesia and getting set to head off for Lombok to the Giilies Islands and maybe Sulawesi as well.

We are finding in Bali that there are some Asia cheap travel deals in Lovina on the north side of Bali cheap hotel on the beach front, private bungalow for only $10 a night and this included air con and hot water and as a final catch they threw in breakfast.

We had a great time as usual in Tulemban and saw at 35 meters a Mola Mola ie a sunfish beautiful! Awsome! Really big! And on the first dive we had a white tip shark this on a shore dive Bali Cheap Diving

In Cambodia and Thailand they are not getting it yet that there is a major retraction and they are not adjusting. Thailand in particular considering the state of the place should be bending over back wards to get people to come, which the Thai Government understands, as they are giving free 60 day visa’s at their foreign embassies, and I have been told but have not confirmed, is that they are no longer enforcing the 90 days and out rule. But sadly for the budget travelers they are only giving 15 days at overland border crossings.

Cambodia at least they are not raising their prices, which we were seeing on the Bangkok hotels. The good news in Cambodia if you are a cheap traveler is that if you convert your Dollars to Cambodian Riel the FOREX Foreign Exchange rate gives you a 3 to 4% increase using the local currancies as opposed to using your dollars.
