London to Bangkok Cheapest Flights

I was talking to a poor guy last night literely as he had booked a flight on Ryan air to Stanstead and then a flight continuing on to KL then Bangkok on Air Asia. this Air Asia flight from london to KL is the cheapest way that I can find to come from most of Europe to Asia and then to Bangkok.

The long story short they closed the gate 1 hour before the flight and would not let him on. Aparently the Brits are very gung ho on the security and that is the reason that they are closing the gates so early.

Aparently many people are geting cuaght up in this as and Tony Fernadez is a smart guy thet will let you rebook your flight to KL but you need to pay another 200 to 300 US dollars or pounds not sure but it is a fair bit of your hard earned cash to pay for the Paranoid bueracrats and their very unfriendly dogs to walk on your luggage.
