We have been really lucky to spend alot of time now ding some great cheap Bali scuba diving on the Tulamben Wreck and the reason we can afford to do this is that the cheap guesthouses and budget accomodations make for a really cheap dive vacation holiday even here you go into convulsions compared to places like the Perhehian Islands in Malaysia nad the Phillippines scuba diving in Puerto Galara or diving in Cebu Bohol. I get asked all the time what is the best place that I have been to and I reply without hesitation Bali Cheap hotels great food and the people and the culture are living treasures. I know of no other places that have so many great things going for them. If you are looking for cheap diving that is world classs then Bali needs to be your choice. I had a couple that was looking to do a Asia liveaboard and I was able to convince them that with all the different types of diving in Indonesia there was no need to spend the extra money to travel & stay on a boat, when they could have cheap Bali accommodations and lots of divert dive sites for a lot less.
In Tulemban the first night that we spent up there was at the Ocean Sun Guesthouse. Cheaper accomodations that are the nice would be very difficult to find. Ricardo and his staff do a good job of making sure that you have everything that you need to have a good stay the only negitive is that there is no hot water but this wil be soon changed as 2 guest roooms are scheduled to get this upgrade soon. The rooms all come with big comfortable beds the rooms have lots of natural light and are clean.
