In Sanur Beach we stayed at the Lestari homestay guesthouse which is a very comfortable longstay bali Cheap Hotel at around $6 a night which can include breakfast close to the beach and a cool pool. Another hotel you might consider not quite as good a bargin as the Lestari Homestay but much closer to the beach is the Ari Putri this is a good budget accomodation at around $40 USD a night ++ they charge 20% tax when the rate is 17% which makes them a little slezzy also they have the restaurant prices on a board leading into the hotel and they are not correct which is a major no no in my book be careful with this hotel they are slippery.
