Finding a cheap hotel in Cairns up in Queensland Australia was one of the toughest places I have been to yet for finding good deals on cheaper hotels, the Adobe Hotel was the best deal on cheap accommodations in Carins that we could find.
This Cairns budget accommodation has all newly refurbished rooms taken care of by his extended family. They have a Salt water pool all rooms have air con and hot water Cable TV with a decent size screen Laundry room and even a place to do some cooking like you would find in a hostel but you don't have to share the bathroom with half of Europe and part of the subcontinent.

The main attraction in Carnis besides the cheap beachs is the great diving on the barrier reef, We did the Taka Liveaboard and it was one of the funnest Liveabaords in Asia that we have dived
