Singapore is such a cool place to be.Cheap Hotels are not that easy to find but I allways enjoy going here mainly for the food smells. What I also enjoy is the ease of moving around Singapore from Suntec city, to the Airport, to Little India and Gayland all are easy to get to by Taxi or even better the trains. You will also find that getting here is easy with many airlines running flights to Singapore that are really cheap for a major business center
A few new software programs that I like have come out that were developed for real people like us who like to budget travel but are not bussiness travelers on the company dime travel agents definatly don't like these programs. Check out Sidestep, Kayak, Mobissimo and FareChase for the cheapest international airfares ..The new ones that you can use to check the flight fare info against are FareCast and FareCompare which use crystal balls and such to get you a fair airfare. I was looking to go to Manaila and they wanted 500 to 700 for the flight I found a work around that only cost around $100 and I can see Kuala Lumpur as well . If you need to fly in Aisa then check out Air Asia which is offerning some very cheap flights espically if you are gong to the main Asia air hubs of Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur if you are in Australia check out Virgin Airlaines it worked out to be alot cheaper that any other type of travel that I could find,
