Khai Look-Khuey
Deep fried boiled eggs with sweet & sour sauce.
The name of this dish is tinglish in thai cuisine.Khai-Look-Khuey in English direct translate is Son-In-law-Eggs! that's why,I mail this dish to you.
Ingradients
- 3 boiled eggs
- 1/4 cup palm sugar
- 2 tabs.fish sauce
- 2 tabs.tamarind paste
- 2 tabs. crisp fried sliced schallots
- 1 tabs. sliced dried red chilies-deep-fry
- coriander leaves and thin strips of red chilies for garnishing.
Preparations
Fry the eggs in very hot oil until golden brown.Drain and cut in half, then arrange on a plate.
Dissolve suger over the heat with fish sauce and tamarind,continue stirring until become concentrate then pour the sauce over the eggs .Garnish with crispy fried sliced shallots,fried chilies,coriander,red chilies strips.
