The guesthouse rooms were small and it was a communal restrooms but this was well done and not as uncomfortable as one would imagine, with very comfortable bath robes and slippers provided. The beds were futon like mats with very warm and cuddly comforters. Kimi Roykan which is a traditional Japanese guesthouse inn hotels. the highlight for me was the traditional wooden hot tub for a nice long soak. they also had a very friendly and attractive social scene with families and younger student types mixing comfortably in a social pit if you will pictured above.
